Dear Ms. Kelly,
I received the new catalog today, and my first thought was, "Wow, more great clothes selections from Junonia." As I began to peruse the selections I kept noticing 3X being the largest choice and also no extended sizes, but of course there are some things offered in large now. First I checked the size chart to see if the sizes have been changed but it is the same. What has happened to the 4x option?
I came to your company years ago because you had wonderful clothes in my size, but once again plus size women in the upper category are being shut out of the new fashions. Does this mean that Junonia will only offer up to 3x? I am so disappointed I can't put it into words. As a large person all my life I vividly remember the days of shopping and only finding old polyester clothes in my size as a teenager which was terribly embarrassing, and now I feel like my favorite online clothes source is forgetting their extended size base. Please tell me I am wrong!

When I received my copy of La Vie I panicked because I thought it meant you were dropping your 4-6x line. I'm thrilled to see it survived as a separate entity: Junoesque. Thank you for what you do. I pray you will never drop your 4-6x lines. We goddesses need you.

Thanks for writing, and for being loyal Junonia customers for so long. I'm happy to tell you that Junonia has not turned its back on our larger customers, and we never will. We value all of our customers equally, which is actually part of the story behind your confusion.
When Junonia started out, we were an active wear company, offering mostly apparel for swimming and working out. Over the years, we've had the opportunity to expand our selection to include wonderful casual and outdoor styles. This year, we decided to diversify further by introducing two new offshoot catalogs. The first was Junoesque, a collection of 4X-6X apparel including many new designs available exclusively in extended sizes. The second was La Vie, a line of casual clothing targeted toward our XL-3X sized customers.
Unfortunately, we mistakenly mailed a number of La Vie catalogs to our Junoesque customers, which created some confusion. Rest assured that Junonia now offers more styles than ever before for women who wear sizes 4X to 6X. In fact, many of the items in the La Vie catalog are available in larger sizes on the Junonia website. We do apologize for creating confusion, and we will continue striving to make our communications with customers as clear as possible. Future editions of our La Vie catalog will include styles up to 4X, and our Junonia catalog will continue to include dozens of best selling styles in sizes up to 6X.
