Creator and founder of www.Xinaonline.com.
Xina Sy embodies inspiration! She has become a role model for living life to the
fullest. Recently she has decided to take her attitude and advice too women nationally.
You may have seen her on television on Good Morning Today in Atlanta recently. She was
showing women how to look their best in swimwear. Junonia was happy to provide some
samples for her models.
Her latest project is Size Esteem, the 7 day Mental Diet for Better Body and Self Image.
I tend to be a bit of a skeptic about self-help programs, so I asked Pam, our top customer
service supervisor for her opinion as well. Pam is talking to Junonia customers every
Day (date)(date)(date)(date)and knows what Junonia is all about. She reviewed the audio
tape that Xina sells. Pam was extremely impressed. "It is so much in line with the
Junonia message! You really have to focus on what's good for you, and stop worrying about
what other people think. Xina really understands and is so understanding and motivating.
Until you address what is stopping you in your mind, it is hard to accomplish your goals."
The $14.95 program is just the starting point. The program includes membership in a
web-support program. A web-based 7-day program to start, and then every week there are
weekly PDF downloads - for no extra cost-to keep up the motivation.
As Xina says, "Once people dive into it, they say 'I didn't realize I had this thought
process going on about how I felt about myself.' Unlike many exercise programs, I deal
with spirit, mind and body. It is important to let go of other peoples' opinion about
yourself, define things for yourself, and focus on feeling better and doing better. That
is more important than getting down to a size two."
Xina taught fitness with a special focus on plus sizes for over 11 years. "At one time I
had over 400 students, and trained other instructors. Our courses have always been
connected to a workout and support group. Over the years I have found that the support
component is the key to success to staying motivated. And people are now finding online
motivation a great tool to achieving their goals "
Recently, she has had to really put her own words into practice. "I crushed my ankle in
December, ending up with a plate and four rods. I've gained a lot of weight and have
just now, six months later, started exercising again. The recovery has been one of the
hardest things I've had to do. I'm used to running and teaching a lot. I wish it was one
of those herois athletic injuries, but I was simply carrying a computer to my car and I
slipped, fell, and hit the tire with the full weight of my body and the computer. I had a
wonderful surgeon who is used to working with athletes. I am planning to start teaching
again in the fall."
"The accident has given me time to write and re-work the vision. I've completely
re-vamped the website www.Xinaonline.com. The recovery trip back really had to be a
mnetal process, and I began to understand how athletes need to mentally motivate
themselves. If confirmed that you need to do the mental work first, then our external
work starts to conform to that."
"I've also started working with the Boys and Girls Club in their Smart Girls Program.
It's a program to help girls make better choice and boost self esteem. So many girls feel
they don't measure up physically. It is a major reason given by young girls who attempt
suicide. I'm all about women of all sizes feeling good in their skin. And my recent
segment about swimwear is a part of that. It a woman doesn't feel good in what they
wear-- they hide. They aren't fully present in their lives. It is important to feel
good so you can be active and live your life to the fullest."
