I just wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for Junonia and your service to plus size women like myself. I have shopped at Junonia for several years now and will continue to do so for several reasons. I particularly like the way you use plus size women to model plus size clothes. I can tell how the clothing is going to look rather than being insulted by a size 4 model in my 3X styles. Bravo for you! Also, I have not found another company which consistently puts the length on all tops in the description. Since I do not care for myself in the more cropped tops, I usually avoid buying anything which does not state the length. I appreciate the quality of all your items. I know that when my items arrive, I will be presented with substantial, quality, long wearing clothing that is colorful and anything but "old fat lady" clothes! You appreciate the fact that we still have a zest for life, regardless of size. Fourthly, your personal involvement is very nice. I always feel that someone is on top of things at Junonia and staying involved to insure that Junonia represents exactly what you envision. I never feel disrespected or taken for granted or looked down upon due to my plus size. For myself and on behalf of many other women, I thank you for Junonia and for your unique vision in serving the needs of the active, very alive, and tasteful women who are your loyal customers. I just wanted to say thank you for offering a product line that supports larger women in an active lifestyle. The products I've ordered from you in the past have been excellent in quality and fit and as I'm pondering my next selection, I had to write. I've been plus-sized since age 18 (I'm now 34). I've watched as larger clothing has moved from polyester tents to the myriad of options available now, as designers are finally understanding that just because a woman is overweight, her sense of style and self-esteem are not necessarily impaired. The Junonia selection appeals to me because of the quality of your fabrics and the style options that are designed for a fuller figure, not just the same shape as "normal" clothes with added inches everywhere. At this point in my life, I'm about to undertake an adventure-taking advantage of a company layoff to sell my house, buy an RV, and spend a couple years traveling through North America. My work wardrobe needs to be replaced by one for hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, and simply enjoying the outdoors. I had gained weight during years of working in a cubicle, and one of my goals is to be more active and improve my health while I travel. Your clothes will make it possible for me to do that without being self-conscious of my current size, and in the modern fabrics that will keep me comfortable and supported. It will take me a couple of days to figure out how to best spend my modest clothing budget on new shorts, shirts, capris, and undergarments from Junonia, but I'm already looking forward to how confident I'll feel doing something good for my body, dressed in a way that looks good on me. I have had a tough time finding sports clothes in Canada. Even in my home city of Toronto, I am made to feel like a pariah for being a plus size. Until my husband found your site, I had to purchase menswear for my winter and gym gear and endure far too long sleeves, huge jackets, inadequate pants and boring colours. The pervasive attitude among sports clothes manufacturers is that women who are larger than size 14 do not engage in physical activity. They need to wake up! Thank you for catering to a much under-serviced market. I love my purchases! Silvie
